Tammy Hansen Snell grew up on a ranch in the Sandhills of Nebraska. Her mind travels the universe exploring quantum mechanics, the impact of attitude on health, how the mind works, mathematical oddities, weird words, hyperspace and beyond. She was a news anchor and reporter for a TV station for several years and has written dozens of humorous, educational and inspirational columns for newspapers and magazines. Current projects include a novel and a movie script.

Ron Snell grew up in the Amazon jungle speaking a strange mixture of English, Machiguenga and Spanish. He has degrees in anthropology, linguistics and business (M.B.A.) He has worked in South America, Central America and Asia, visited 30-some countries and has a long list of indoor and outdoor hobbies. He has written three books, numerous articles and columns, marketing brochures, company newsletters, position papers for executives, songs, and lousy poems that only his mother and wife like. He enjoys speaking and has taught Cross Cultural Communications at the World Trade Center in Dallas and corporations such as EDS and Nortel Networks. In an odd sort of life-twist, he is now periodically asked to conduct funerals for people who have no clergy to call on, due to his compassionate research and eulogies.
